The Gilbert Players presents a cabaret performance of great songs--some old, some new, some well known, some obscure...and all sure to surpise and delight!

This performance is free, and so are the delicious goodies, wine, and beer that will be served. But be sure to make reservations in advance, as seats are sure to fly like a nightengale in...you know.

During intermission, the full 2010-2011 Cultural Center season will be revealed, with an opportunity to purchase season subscriptions if you'd like: the seat of your choice for the whole season, at a 20% discount off the price of single tickets!

Isn't it a Lovely Day to be sitting in a Berkeley Square cafe waiting for Madeleine. Again. That girl Paula walks by. She is so beautiful, she could Drive a Person Crazy! I so want to speak to her....What Is this Feeling? Am I Losing my Mind? Shyly I say, "Thou Swell." She looks right through me, as if I were Mr. Cellophane. Does she not like Bald Men? Say it Isn't So, I think to myself. Whatever Happened to My Part, anyway? Taylor the Latte Boy brings her some toast with Butter and a cup of Java. They stare at each other coolly. She whispers, "So, I see I'm Not Getting Married after all." As she sits alone at the corner table, I watch her...for so long I Dreamed a Dream that we could be together--now, I Wish Upon a Star...I Imagine that she glances at me, noticing me, thinking, "Can I Bring Him Home?" I smile to myself...perhaps at last I Will Be Loved Tonight!
