Something special is brewing at the Cultural Center at Eagle Hill this season! Please join us over a cup of tea for a series of talks by artists who’ll share their work, ideas, and stories with you.
Tea, like art, has been an essential part of culture for centuries. Just like tea, art is not necessarily a noun, but a verb, something to be done, a soothing ritual, a conversation, a part of an activity that enriches us. Art Teas are an appreciation of fine art and fine tea.
During the series, Tea Master, Tom Gaskill, will feature and prepare a new tea from the far reaches of the world, each with its own regional preparation and brewing methods to bring out its characteristic flavor.
The intimate setting of the Kresge Studio Theatre accompanied by the pleasant aroma of steeping tea is your opportunity to meet an eclectic array of Central and Western Massachusetts artists. Each month Art Teas serves up a distinct tea and a delightful artist’s presentation in an entertaining, informative blend of the culinary and the visual arts.
Admission is free for the hour long Art Teas, and refreshments are complimentary, but reservations are necessary. Each Art Tea runs from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
